ClueSignal exists to help people understand publicly available information about themselves and the people they interact with. Misuse causes real harm, and we enforce this policy strictly.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use ClueSignal to:
- Stalk, follow, or surveil any person
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any person
- Doxx or publicly expose private information about any person
- Attempt real-time location tracking
- Conduct general or covert surveillance
- Make employment hiring, firing, or screening decisions
- Make tenant or housing screening decisions
- Make credit, lending, or financial eligibility decisions
- Make insurance underwriting or eligibility decisions
- Make legal eligibility, immigration, or government-benefit decisions
- Upload images you do not have the legal right to use
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell ClueSignal data
- Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
Why These Limits Exist
ClueSignal is not a consumer reporting agency under the U.S. FCRA, Canadian provincial credit reporting laws, or similar statutes. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate and must never be used for decisions that affect a person's livelihood, housing, finances, or legal standing.
Enforcement
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund and may be reported to law enforcement.
